Website's Description: The Battle to end all battles. Right up there with Kirk vs. Picard, Creed vs. Balboa, and Kramer vs. Kramer - it's Melvin vs. Florence. Together they will quite literally duel to dictate the fate of the series. With 4Kids looming over them, will it be curtains for our animated companions? Or will the series be extended for another unnecessarily long list of children's card games? The answer lies within.

Trivia[]

Cultural References[]

  • The background music in the first scene is "Through the Fire and Flames" by DragonForce.
  • Yami Bakura's opening is from Vader and Obi-Wan Kenobi's lightsaber duel in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.
    • Marik's "Stay on target" line is also from this movie.
  • Melvin says Yu-Gi-Oh: The Abridged Series "will be cancelled faster than you can say 'created by Joss Whedon'". Joss Whedon was the creator of TV series Firefly, which was cancelled after only one season, and Dollhouse, cancelled after two seasons, as well as a handful of series which were cancelled mid-development.
  • Zorc and Cody cameo on Hannah Montana.
  • TeamFourStar's parody of the Ghostbusters theme song, "Ghost Nappa" is heard in the background while Yugi, Téa, Joey and Tristan are having a party in Bakura's room.
  • The song that Marik and Bakura sing at the end of the episode is Ben E. King's "Stand by Me".
    • At the end of the credits Marik changes the lyrics from "Stand by Me" to Sean Kingston's "Beautiful Girls". This is most likely a reference to the fact that "Beautiful Girls" sampled several sound clips from "Stand by Me".
  • The shows seen playing behind Noah are Viva Piñata, Dinosaur King, Sonic X, Huntik, and Chaotic. All of these shows have been on 4Kids TV.
