Trivia[]
- The title is a play on the comedy film Throw Mama from the Train (1987).
- The Obnoxious Celtic Guardian running gag carries into his transformation into Poison Butterfly, proceeding to exclaim "I'm so poisonous!" following his name drop.
- The Berserker Soul scene is a reenactment of the original Japanese version of the canon series, which went on to produce many Internet memes.
- The Mushroom Man joke is a reference to how Yugi initially had the card in the Toei anime pre-Death T.
- The episode title references Weevil's Japanese name, Insector Haga, though Weevil has never been referred to as Haga in the series so far.
- The Orichalcos power changed Weevil and Rex's voice to sound more like their Dub voices, even making them equally smart to their original incarnations.
- In the anime Timaeus doesn’t fuse with Poison Butterfly, as it believes Yami is not worthy of using it in a duel, while in this episode Timaeus doesn’t fuse with Poison Butterfly because both monsters are unable to fuse together.
- Dartz no longer has rainbow hair. When Rafael questions it, Dartz says he just washed the dye out. (Realistically, it would take longer to make season 4 if this gag was kept)
